We often don’t think about the impact that water has on hair. We think about shampoo and conditioner, even haircuts and color. But the type of water that comes out of the faucet can wreak havoc on your hair. In fact, hard water varies from home to home, and leaves behind things that you don’t want in your hair.

That’s because hard water has a lot of minerals, and those minerals want to adhere to something. When you shower, it’s going to be your hair. Those minerals, in turn, can then make it harder to brush your hair and to style your hair.
